It was almost confirmed that Nippon Ichi would make a game on Wii and we all thought it has to be Disgaea or rather an upgraded version of Disgaea 2. However, it turned out that Ichi’s first project would be Phantom Brave, a port PS2 title. The port will have few changes and improvements although the official site doesn’t have much in detail as of now. The game will be released in Japan on March 12th.

 There’s still no word whether the game would be released outside Japan as NIS America has not given any word of publishing this game. It is surprising to know because Phantom Brave was NIS America’s first published game in North America. Due to this, Phantom Brave holds special place for NIS America.
