There was no publisher for No More Heroes until Ubisoft picked it up as Japanese publisher Marvelous Entertainment didn’t have an American branch at that time. Since then, the Marvelous director Yasuhiro Wada made a multi game agreement with XSEED. This leads us to assume that XSEED would handle the distribution of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle when that title is released in early 2010.

However, we got news through our internal sources that the XSEED partnership may not extend to Desperate Struggle as Ubisoft has its own terms for distribution of the game. The voice work of the original game is in English and it doesn’t matter who publishes the game till the time the original piece of work is retained. This arrangement might work as Ubisoft is capable of getting more copies in more stores.
