We have kept our game enthusiasts in India waiting and wondering about foray of Wii in the Indian market. Most of the readers of Wii Fanboy follow their heart and don’t get forced to resort to grey market for picking up their favorite game like many countries. But it is quite widespread in India which has second highest population in the world,. Big brands like Sony and Microsoft have legal distribution networks in India where as Wii are yet to establish one. But this scenario will change in coming days after Milestone interactive recently checked Wii software introduction through proper network. Wii is not confident about the Milestone’s report. It would not be reliable to draw conclusion based on sales while console hasn’t been introduced officially in India. That’s how it has been working in India and we consider Milestone’s interest as genuine.

Milestone wants to sell Alone in the Dark Wii in India where as critics are not confident about the Alone in the Dark.  Atari’s survival can be used to gauge any chances to establish its hold in the Indian market. Indian game lovers import their Wiis from abroad and there are still question marks if the disc will prove beneficial. The gap between supply and demand has reduced considerably and Nintendo is venturing in to the areas it has so far kept away from.
