If you don't know, Manhunt 2 has been under a ton of controversy lately. The ESRB is the board that gives games the ratings to make sure kids don't buy violent games. The UK has a similar service called the BBFC. The only problem is that the BBFC has still not approved Manhunt 2 for sale.
They believed even the fixes that were made to Manhunt 2 were insufficient despite the ESRB in the USA allowing it. The strange thing is that the BBFC has claimed there isn't a definitive link between violence and games, which makes this even more puzzling.
They do however believe the subject needs more research before they can make a decision. All Rockstar understands is they are losing a ton of money on this and also gaining a ton of publicity. I wonder if its cancelling out.
