It’s on! Mario Kart Wii is released in North America. I am very eager to know who has got it. I guess some of you would have experienced the game. How is it? You must definitely post in your reviews so that others can also get a better idea of it.

Many of friends told me that there is a small difference in Europe, Japan and Australia. Is there any difference in online play? Incase you all find any difference please do mail me so that even I post my analysis.

Change is the essence of life. Only if there are changes, there will be growth. Same is the thing with game developers. Mario Kart Wii which was developed 16 years ago has undergone many changes till now.

Today you find bikes, stunts and the Wii wheel in Mario Kart Wii. It simply impresses the audience. Even the veteran Mario Kart players like the new versions. The newcomers love to play the older versions and they could not just stop playing it. To sum up, Mario Kart Wii is one of the best video games ever developed.

Hey guys did you check out the latest releases this Friday? This week was filled with much excitement. But among the new releases was the Phantasy Star III, a new born step baby of the Phantasy Star games.

Though it was one of the much hyped games, we didn’t see great response from it. Actually we thought that the gamers knew about its previous version, Phantasy Star II and hence the response should have been great but then it turned out to be a poor one. The Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom got just around 800 Wii Points.

Hello guys and girls! Here is a crisp snacky synopsis of Shigeru Miyamoto’s interview. When asked about the rumors that Nintendo going to hived off…he quickly denied that Nintendo is not abandoning its core franchises. He said that all its existing teams are working towards developing a new game.

He further emphasized that the Zelda team initiated the work to develop a new game. He thanked the Nintendo’s hard core game lovers. He added that it is because of the game lovers’ love that is making them to develop games for them. He feels that Link’s Crossbow’s launch in Japan will enable the Japanese experience the first-person shooters.

It's happened to music fans all over the world.  You get into a discussion - that quickly turns into an argument - over your favorite genres of music.  Wouldn't it be cool if you could find a way to duke it out with your buddy over the Rock vs. Country debate?  Hip-Hop vs. Rock?  That's kinda the point of THQ's Battle of the Bands.

Looking quite similar to Guitar Hero, BOB will allow you to hear all of its 30 licensed songs in 5 different genres.  Interesting.  Instead of the GH guitar, you just have to swing the Wiimote in concert (no pun intended) with the signals on the screen.  You even get to sabotage your opponent by blowing a smokescreen which hinders their performance.  I just can't wait to hear the country version of LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out".  Not kidding.

Once in a blue moon, a title comes along that changes how you look at video games.  It is so beyond what you could ever have imagined that your jaw drops to the floor.  It leaves you astounded, wondering if you will ever look at your Wii the same way again.  This time, it's called Major League Eating: The Game.

Yes, there's a game coming that places you in the arena of competitive head-to-head eating. The trailer seems to display power-ups like bad breath that you can use against your opponent.  There are celebration dances and what seems to be clouds of flatulence.  You also have to watch your meters, or your player will puke.  Yep, this is all real and it's coming to WiiWare.

The veritable cornucopia of games flooding the Japanese Virtual Console has just grown even larger.  With games from the Famicom and PC Engine making their way onto the VC, it's enough to encourage envy in the hearts of Wii gamers worldwide.  Well, on to the games we won't get to play in the rest of the world.

Scrollers Musha Aleste and Sky Kid join the fray at 600 and 500 Wii points, respectively.  Cheetahmen II runs for 500 points, while Legend of Valkyrie can be picked up for 600.  A familiar face, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, kicks its way into action for 600 Wii point, with Crest of Wolf (Riot Zone) coming in at a big 800 Wii points.  Congratulations, Japan.

Remember playing out your favorite scenes from Star Wars with anything long enough to resemble a lightsaber?  I also recall the look on my mom's face when I accidentally cracked the broomstick against the wall pretending to be Luke Skywalker battling Darth Vader.  This fall, your Wiimore gets its chance to be your own personal lightsaber when Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is released for the Wii.

Utilizing a wide collection of combos, the Wiimote is going to get quite the workout in the game's Duel Mode.  For once, North America will be receiving a hot game before the rest of the world when The Force Unleashed is released on September 16th.  It hits Australia and Southeast Asia on September 17th, with Europe follwing on the 19th.  Can't wait.

If you had to describe this new game in movie-pitch terms, it would be Castlevania meets "Snakes on a Plane".  It's called Last Flight and it's one of the new titles announced for release on WiiWare.  The only problem is that it's not coming until early 2009.

Meet Larry Adelman.  He's a food critic.  With a whip soaked in holy water.  Fighting vampires on a plane.  Now if this were actually a movie pitch, it would crash faster than a plane loaded with the undead.  As a video game pitch, it sounds like a title well worth the wait.  Even if the wait is until next year.

You're in Japan. You're got your Wii and you love it dearly, but you're getting tired of playing all of the great games out there.  It's become so bad that you're thinking about putting the Wii on the shelf.  Just kidding.

Hudson's hitting WiiWare and the retail stores of Japan with Karaoke JoySound Wii, a karaoke game.  Even though it's unlikely that the game will see an American release, it's still worth reporting that it uses a library of 20,000 songs.  They're also Japanese songs, so American karaoke fans can stop with the Wii envy.
