It was announced by Square Enix that they would be releasing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time in Europe and other PAL territories in March this year. The game will be exclusively only for Nintendo DS and Wii.
Both the Nintendo Ds and Wii owners will be able to play against each other as it will be the first cross platform multiplayer adventures. The game will have advanced features of 3D graphics and players from different platforms that can be connected for playing using the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection mode. Players can chose from over 300 different items and costume combinations to add to the fun and hey can play in English, French, German or Spanish.
Electronic Arts is the latest major games publisher which has announced a number of Wii titles. It will make use of Nintendo’s much-improved Wii Motion Plus motion control tech. Sega had also announced the Virtual Tennis for Wii this month.
Wii’s latest control technology could be seen in Nintendo’s own Wii Sports Resort. It would be the first title by Nintendo to use this technology. It will be released in May which will be followed afterwards by Sega’s Virtual Tennis. EA has announced that Tiger Woods 10 and a new tennis title whose name is yet to be confirmed will be among the first titles that would support Wii MotionPlus controller tech.
The black version of Nintendo DS Lite (officially known as the “DSLite Onyx”) has been discontinued by Nintendo. According to a newsletter, a copy of which was intercepted and reprinted by Kotaku, the employees have been alerted about Nintendo’s choice to end the sale of the product. The company has also reminded them that once the current stock of the black DS Lite has been sold, they are to remove all the advertisements featuring the black color from the stores.
Kotaku has pointed out that Nintendo has already discontinued the White DS Lite and replaced it by the Silver DS Lite If this is true then it could also mean that the Onyx DS Lite has been discontinued to make way for the black DSi.

A wide variety of content backs up this success but most of the companies release their titles which are aimed at only a certain territory like Japan or North America. This of course creates a discontentment among the gamers of other regions that are deprived of their favorite games. Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime spoke to GameDaily about this problem and stated that games are targeted at those regions where they are expected to sell well. However, his company was trying to please everyone and release games in all the territories.
Lego videogame series will have a hew entry with Nintendo DS, as announced by Warner Bros. interactive Entertainment and series creators TT Games. Legos Battles is a squad game based on the three toys of Lego. These are Lego Castle, Lego Pirates and Lego Space. All these three themes have been mixed together in the game.
You may thus, expect to see aliens, pirates, ninjas, dragons who may battle side-by-side in the games. The game will allow the players to build bases giving the game a more strategic nature. The wireless DS multiplayer card play system supports the multiplayer facility in the game. Legos Battles will be developed by Hellbent Games and is expected to be released this summer.
